You’re Ready To Start Email Marketing. Now What?

You’re ready to go all in on email marketing to help you market your wellness business but not quite sure what emails you should be sending after you get those first few subscribers?

CREATE AN AUTOMATED WELCOME SEQUENCE

This is a short series of emails that goes out automatically to new subscribers after they join your list - usually off the back of an opt in/freebie but not always.

You can buy my DIY welcome sequence templates here to guide your welcome sequence copy or work with me to create one.

INTRODUCE OTHER CORE SEQUENCES

After a welcome sequence, most people look to jump straight into monthly or weekly newsletters but there’s another step in the middle that can help you to build on the trust and connection you’ve built off the back of your welcome emails.

This comes in the form of a core sequence. Whereas your nurture sequence hasn’t done any hard selling, this sequence aims to sell one of your signature offers to those who are ready to take the next step. And even for those who aren’t, they get a good understanding of your signature offer and know they’re a good fit for further down the line.

Core sequences can also be content led for softer selling rather than a straight up sales sequence.

SEND REGULAR NEWSLETTERS

For those that aren’t ready , you can continue to nurture and strengthen the relationship through newsletters, whether that’s weekly, fortnight or monthly.

Newsletters can share updates about your services but they can (and should!) go far beyond this.

They can:

💡Provide content that’s relevant to the needs and goals of your potential clients

💡Establish yourself as a trusted industry leader

💡Develop your brand personality

💡Highlight content your audience may have missed elsewhere such as new blogs or video content

💡Offer exclusive content that only email subscribers get to see

💡 And sell your offers

Your newsletters are much more likely to do this if a potential client has already received your welcome sequence and you’ve started to build trust, connection and authority as a result.

My email intensives are designed to help you plan your email marketing over the course of 90 minutes- either sequences, newsletters or both- and make sure your email marketing is aligned with your business goals.
