FAQs About Working With Me

Working with a copywriter is a big deal and like most of my clients, you probably have a lot of questions about how it works and whether it’s the right move for you and your business before you reach out to me.

I’ve included some of the most common questions that potential clients have below but yours isn’t covered, you can email me and ask away.

  • Absolutely! The packages on my website are a guideline but we can create bespoke versions that fit your needs and budget. We can adjust the number of deliverables in a package or mix and match different packages. The choice is yours!

  • I request a first payment to book your space in my copy calendar. This is due during the onboarding process and is up to 50% of the project total. The remaining balance can be added to a payment plan that fits your budget.

  • If my packages seem out of reach financially, reach out to me anyway. There’s often a way that we can reduce the package to fit your budget or break up the project into stages.

  • Generally, I’m booking new projects at least 4 weeks ahead - sometimes up to 8 weeks. If you don’t want to wait for my calendar to open up, you can go VIP on any package (for a slightly higher price) and get your copy sooner.

    I reserve some space in my calendar for VIP projects. If you go VIP, you can expect to receive your draft copy in 7-10 days from the start date (which is generally 1-2 weeks out).

  • If you want me to take care of some (or all!) of your marketing every month, we can agree on a retainer package. This will typically include a set number of deliverables e.g. blogs, emails, social media or video scripts or a more flexible option if your copy needs are likely to change month on month,

    Monthly retainers are billed each month upfront.
