So, what can I expect If I work with you as a wellness copywriter or a marketing strategist for wellness brands & how does it work?

This is a question I’m always asked by potential clients so I’ve broken down my copywriting process here!

Because copy is more than words — it’s strategy, clarity, and connection.

Whether we’re working together on your website, emails, blogs or funnels, we’ll go deeper than just “what to say.” I’ll help you clarify your message, connect with your ideal clients, and create a strategic foundation for your marketing — one that feels like you and actually works.

Here are the steps I take to work on your strategy (and get your finished copy in your inbox if you chose that option):

01. The Discovery Process

  • When you first reach out to me, I’ll collect information about your business and copy or strategy needs via my website enquiry form. This helps me know if we’re a good fit to work together and it can also save some time when our project begins.

  • If we’re a good fit, we’ll arrange a free discovery call to talk about your goals and needs, and I’ll give you an estimate of my services so you can see how your budget matches up. I’ll then send you a quote or proposal with confirmed costs and timelines. Payment plans are available on request.

  • If you want to move forwards, I’ll confirm my current availability for taking on your project. This is generally around 1-3 weeks down the line.

02. The Onboarding Phase

  • In the onboarding phase, I’ll send you a contract and invoice for the first payment on the project. For some projects, I also send out questionnaires at this stage to give me more insight into your business, your goals and your audience so I can write the copy.

    This phase is also where we may have a project call to discuss your copy in more detail. If you want to go through the intake questionnaires at this point, feel free. After our call, you’ll receive a project plan/timeline with the expected dates of copy delivery so you know exactly what to expect from me and what’s required at your end.

03. The Research & Strategy Phase (Strategy & Copy Projects)

Whether you work with me on strategy or strategy and copy, I go deep on research into your audience and your competitors so we can map out a message that’s aligned, intentional, and built to convert, regardless of whether I’m writing it for you or you’re writing it with my support.

Then it’s onto the strategy, which may take one of these forms:

📈 Strategic Copy Mapping

→ A copy outline tailored to your project (e.g. website, funnel, emails)
→ Recommendations on structure, flow, and CTAs that convert
→ Suggestions for aligning your copy with your wider marketing goals

Even if I’m writing your copy, I’ll still do a copy outline so we can check we’re on the same page before I draft your copy.

  • Now it’s time for me to work on your copy, if you’ve chosen the done for you copy option.

  • I work in Google Docs so you can expect me to share the draft doc through this when it’s ready for you to review. We can collaborate together inside the doc and I offer a minimum of 2 rounds of revisions in the project price..

What happens on a discovery call?

A discovery call is a chance for you to tell me more about what you need in terms of copy and to ask me any questions about working together. There is no obligation to work with me afterwards. If you’re interested in getting a quote after our call, I can send a proposal over and it’s totally your call about whether you want to accept it and book a project.

When can you work on my copy?

I’m generally booked 1-3 weeks in front so please be aware that I probably won’t be able to work on your copy right away.

What if I need also help with website design, branding or social media strategy & management?

I don’t offer these services but I partner with amazing website designers, brand designers and social media managers who have lots of experience in the wellness space. I’m always happy to make an introduction to one of them!
