The Challenge:

My client has a product-based business related to the menopause and was keen to get more sales through her website. She was aware that copy isn’t her strength and asked for my support in critiquing her existing website copy to see where it could be improved to encourage better sales.

I carried out an in-depth copy audit of key pages on her website - notably the home page and about pages.

After going through the existing copy, I could immediately see that my client wasn’t demonstrating the full transformational effect of her products, With a few strategic tweaks to change this and take the customer journey into account, I was confident that we could make the copy more impactful and increase conversions.

Through my in-depth suggestions, I encouraged her to play up the benefits of her products so that potential customers could immediately see the transformation that could be achieved if they bought them, and to put the customer at the heart of her copy.

Results:

A little while after our work together, my client emailed to say that her sales had increased “massively” and she was sure that the copy had been instrumental in this.
