Your welcome sequence starts the relationship with new subscribers on the right foot. Your regular emails grow the relationship and help to cement you as a trusted friend (but not in the way you might think).

If you feel like email marketing isn't working for you as a wellness pro, it’s probably because there’s no strategic direction behind your email marketing to help you move potential clients closer to working with you.

I get it. You were told you need to stay front of mind in the inbox and educate to build trust but this approach doesn’t help your wellness business to grow.

It keeps you stuck in the value trap with an audience that expects to get free value from you and believes they can feel better through this alone.

The jump up to your paid offers and working with you becomes huge because there’s no mindset shifting to move them closer to taking the next step.

They stay in the value trap and never become clients.

The other problem with the value trap is that it needs to be scattergun and there’s no strategy to help you get clients.

It often looks like this - think of something valuable and informative and try to shoehorn one or more of your signature offers into it.

I take the opposite approach. Your signature offers inform the strategy and direction of your regular emails. We start with what you want to sell more of and reverse engineer the themes of your emails in line with this so they can help you to bring potential clients into specific offers.

Emailing more often won’t annoy your audience but it CAN help you to grow your wellness business faster.

Only sending monthly emails because you’re too scared to be salesy?

You’re going to find it a lot harder to get clients from your emails.

A month is a long time between emails. There’s a good chance your audience have forgotten you by the time you pop up in their inbox again.

And if you’re trying to cram everything into a single email because it’s your only communication that month, you risk diluting the message and calls-to-action to the extent that they have no impact at all.

Emailing fortnightly or weekly gives you more touchpoints and more opportunities to do the mindset shifting needed to get out of the value trap. It won’t be annoying for your audience as long as you have the right people on your list (if you don’t, that’s a whole other story!).

But you need to be intentional with your email marketing to really tap into the potential of your email list

More isn’t better if there’s no strategy …
